What it is
A drum game and a practice tool in one browser tab: a scrolling highway with Pro drums, Expert+ double kick and Star Power, feedback on timing and dynamics for every hit, section loops, slow-down with the pitch kept, a metronome that follows the song's tempo, a heat map of the sections you miss and a six-second timing calibration. The name is one word, WebEDrums.
It hosts no songs and bundles no third-party music; its demo is a public-domain tune it arranged itself. The charts are the ones the Clone Hero, YARG and Rock Band communities make and share; WebEDrums finds them on Chorus Encore or reads them from your disk, and uploads nothing. It is not a course: technique comes from a teacher, and this is where you apply it to songs you chose.
Who makes it
WebEDrums is a small independent project, in development since October 2026. It is not affiliated with Clone Hero, YARG, Harmonix, Melodics, Play Drums Online, Drumeo or Beatlii; their names belong to their owners, and the comparison pages on this site say when one of them is the better choice.
What it is tested on
The kit we test on is a Roland TD-02KV. Other modules use the same General MIDI drum notes, and the guided kit setup records whatever yours sends; presets exist for Roland, Alesis and Yamaha modules. Chrome and Edge are fully supported on Windows, macOS, Linux and ChromeOS; Firefox 108 and newer works with two limits, and Safari has no Web MIDI. The guides describe each kit family and the connection in detail.
How it is paid for
Three plays a day are free, with every feature and no account. Pro removes the daily limit and is what pays for the project. Payments and invoices are handled by Polar, our merchant of record; we never see card details. Prices and the refund terms are on the pricing page.
Your data
Songs, scores, settings and pad maps stay in your browser. An account exists only for Pro and holds your email, name, linked sign-in providers and subscription status. There are no analytics cookies; visits are counted anonymously. The privacy policy has the details, the app exports your data as one file, and the account page deletes the account.

Use the contact page for anything: a kit that does not map, a chart that does not load, a factual error in a guide, a refund, or a feature you miss.
